Ben Walmsley shares his essential reads that include key ideas from leading practitioners and researchers about how cultural value can be co-created with audiences and participants in a democratic and collaborative way. What interests him about this kind of thinking is not only that it opens up questions of cultural value to a more diverse range of voices, but also that it provides a meaningful way of engaging with audiences and enhancing their existing relationships with culture and with their favourite cultural organisations.
