International policy responses to Covid: webinar recording
This webinar recording from 17 September 2020 presents findings from recent research into international policy responses to the impact of Covid-19 on the cultural sector.
It gives an overview of different interventions internationally and explores the underlying policy models and structures that have influenced these – e.g. the status of and targeted support for freelance practitioners in different countries. It also reflects on how cultural policy might be reshaped and re-imagined in a post Covid-19 future.
Chaired by Anne Torreggiani (The Audience Agency & Centre for Cultural Value), contributors include Professor Franco Bianchini, Ian Thomas (British Council), Dr Rachel Johnson (University of Leeds), Moira Sinclair (Paul Hamlyn Foundation) and Chenine Bhathena (Coventry UK City of Culture 2021).
