Rebecca McGreevy

Rebecca works across performance and events; experienced as a theatre maker and marketing creative. As cofounder of Teastain Theatre she makes devised shows and new writing, and her roles range from assistant directing, performing and writing, to managing the company’s marketing. After graduating from The University of York she trained as part of Leeds Playhouse’s Young Company, and furthered her creative ambition with Tmesis Theatre’s Wicked Women development course and as a Young Creative with Pilot Theatre. As a passionate advocate for the value of storytelling, Rebecca also now chairs the board at arts festival TakeOver and works as a youth theatre facilitator, most recently at Leeds Playhouse. Striving to continue to gain experience as a theatre director, Rebecca now works across facilitating and marketing communications for arts organisations.
